After months of build up, Kyle and Jackie O’s breakfast show aired on Melbourne radio for the first time on Monday morning, and boy, did they open with a bang.

The hosts spent the first 15 minutes of their program introducing themselves and their team members to Melbourne listeners, in what can only be described as a SHOCKING opening segment.

Newsreader Brooklyn Ross was the first team member to be introduced, with Kyle referring to him as a “massive h*mo” who “used to be a real gay wh*re”.

“I did, yeah,” Brooklyn said. “I famously had a few STI’s. The worst was crabs.”

Kyle then introduced himself, saying, “I’m a fuel guzzling, ex F-boy, coke-sniffing a*sehole”.

Jackie mentioned that she’s a single mum who’s never had an STI.

“That just makes you sound like you’re no fun,” Kyle replied.

Mimicking Jackie’s voice, he said: “Oh I’ve kept this p*ssy pristine.”

He then added, “You’re like a Greek chick that keeps the vagina fresh for the husband but 40 guys have gone through the arse”.

Bruno Bouchet, Kyle’s manager, was the next person to introduce himself.

“Despite being straight, I love getting pegged,” he confessed.

But wait, there’s more.

“I’ve got a freakishly long French foreskin and once my buddies and I shoved $12.85 in coins there.”

The show’s executive producer, Pedro Cuccovillo Vitola, jumped on the microphone and bravely announced that he has “a very tiny penis”.

“The best way for people to picture what it looks like … if you look at the nail on your pinky, that’s the size of my penis,” he said.

Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O are now broadcasting on Melbourne and Sydney radio.

The show’s intern, Peter Deppeler, tried to endear himself to the new Melbourne listeners by revealing that he was born in the Victorian town of Simpson.

“Weren’t you run out of that little town?” Kyle asked. “Tell everyone why.”

“Because I slept with my cousin accidentally,” Pete replied, much to the amusement of the hosts.

Just when it seemed like the segment was coming to an end, producer Nat Penfold popped up on the microphone and explained that she could vape with her vagina.

Will Melbourne warm to Kyle and Jackie?

The shocking opening segment gave Melbourne listeners a clear indication of what they can expect if they choose to tune into the Kyle and Jackie O Show on KIIS 101.1.

But industry experts are torn over whether the radio show will be as successful in Melbourne as it is in Sydney where it tops the FM ratings.

Former radio executive and host of the Melbourne Radio Wars podcast, Craig Bruce, recently wrote for news.com.au: “Clearly their Sydney audience have become habituated to the extreme nature of their content, and make no mistake: it can be extreme on occasions.

“To be clear, I’m not judging whether this type of content is good or bad, right or wrong.

“I still find the show to be genuinely funny at times and both of them to be as endearing and interesting as I remember them, but (when I listened) I was shocked by the velocity and intensity of the sexualised themes on the show.”

“The question is, how will Melbourne audiences react?” Mr Bruce wrote.

The pair will certainly have their work cut out for them, with some of the country’s strongest breakfast shows broadcasting from Melbourne.

Fox FM’s Fifi, Fev and Nick Show is the current FM market leader in the city, followed by The Christian O’Connell Show on Gold FM and Nova’s Jase and Lauren.
