How else do you celebrate your birthday if you’re a Hollywood superstar?
Hire a cinema of course with a group of your closest friends. That’s what Zac Efron did to mark his 33rd birthday in Byron Bay.
With Australian girlfriend Vanessa Valladares by his side, the former High School Musical star was snapped making his way in to Palace Cinemas at the coastal township at around noon on Sunday.
He was wearing black tracksuit pants, a black T-shirt, cap and dark sunglasses.
Valladares and Efron have been dating for several months since they met when she was working as a waitress at hip cafe The General Store.
It has been a weekend of celebrations for Efron, who hosted a who’s who of Australian stars at his beachside mansion for a birthday bash on Friday night.
Tennis great Pat Rafter, TV host Renee Bargh, KIIS FM shock jock Kyle Sandilands, as well as Hemsworth brothers Chris and Liam are believed to have attended the party.
Nicole Kidman, who is filming Nine Perfect Strangers in Byron, was also invited as she and Efron starred in 2012 film, The Paperboy. Melissa McCarthy and Luke Evans, also shooting with Kidman, were also invited.
