Yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins engaged to bandmate Oliver Brian

Yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins will tie the knot for a second time and her ex-husband Lachy has already congratulated the pair.

Yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins has announced her engagement to bandmate Oliver Brian.

The children’s entertainer shared the happy news on Instagram on Monday night alongside a photo of the diamond ring that Brian gave her when he proposed.

“When life gets more sparkly,” Watkins wrote.

The couple began dating in 2019, one year after Watkins’ split from her ex-husband, Purple Wiggle, Lachlan Gillespie.

Brian is a backup musician who plays the guitar for The Wiggles.

It’s understood that Brian, 32, and Watkins, 31, were friends for four years before they went on their first date and she was instantly drawn to his strong values and his love of the environment.

Meanwhile, Gillespie, 35, has also moved on and is engaged to Dana Stephensen, who is a guest dancer for The Wiggles.

Gillespie and Stephensen welcomed twin girls Lottie and Lulu in September.

Proving they’re still on friendly terms, Gillespie led congratulatory messages for his ex-wife in the comments.

“Love you guys,” he wrote alongside six purple hearts.

Watkins and Gillespie announced their split in 2018 after two years of marriage due to ongoing struggles in their marriage.

“’We have chosen a different path to travel in our personal lives, but please know that we are stronger than ever,” Watkins wrote on social media at the time.
