Casting for Nine’s The Golden Bachelor is underway, and while we hear almost all the positions are filled, Sunday Confidential has some potential candidates for producers to consider.
It is believed a few high profile blokes were sounded out to take on the leading role, however they are reluctant to sign on given that at 60-75-years-old, it’s likely they will have some skeletons in the closet and some extra baggage.
With a plethora of middle aged bachelor’s on the market, Sunday Confidential thought we’d suggest some names who would provide intrigue and buzz to the reality TV program.

Sunday Confidential revealed the series was heading to Australia in October, with Samantha Armytage as its host.
It is believed it will go to air at the back end of the year.
