TOPPING off an incredible year, The Veronicas are set to be front and centre at Australian music’s night of nights as they host tomorrow night’s ARIA awards.
“We’re thrilled to be hosting this year’s ARIAs and we’re honoured to have the opportunity to help bring 30 years of ARIAs to life,” twins Jessica and Lisa Origliasso told The Daily Telegraph last night.
“Last year it was an honour to perform alongside Tina Arena and this year it will be just as exciting as we worship at John Farnham’s feet in front of the entire music industry,” they added.
As well as the On Your Side singers, the annual music awards night will feature a host of local and international hot shots including Robbie Williams, Charlie XCX, Tove Lo, Flume and Jessica Mauboy as ARIA celebrates three decades of Aussie music.
The hosting gig is the latest goal The Veronicas have kicked, after last week making international headlines for their groundbreaking video clip featuring Jess and her new girlfriend Ruby Rose.
