Sydney Sixers cricketer Moises Henriques has split from his wife and is dating Channel 9 personality Sophie Walsh.
Sunday Confidential can reveal the pair have been quietly seeing one another, just recently becoming more public with their romance.
Following in the footsteps of fellow Nine newsreader Roz Kelly, who is married to former South African cricketer Morne Morkel, Walsh is understood to be smitten.
Walsh shared a snap of herself and the all-rounder on social media this week, with TV personalities commenting on the post, including Belinda Russell, who wrote, “winners are grinners”.
Jayne Azzopardi wrote: “This makes me happy.”
Henriques, 37, whose Instagram tagline is “just a dad trying to be a bit better than yesterday”, has a son, 4, with ex-partner Krista Mitchell.
He has been open about his battle with depression, and once said: “I still remember from a very young age one of my life goals was to be the best dad possible when I grew up,” adding that he thought if he was a successful cricketer, it would mean he was a successful dad.
“I can only be a good father if I’m present. I can’t be a good father on the back of just being a good cricketer, that means absolutely nothing.”
