Trailer for Margot Robbie’s movie I, Tonya released

FANS have been given a first look at Margot Robbie as disgraced US figure skater Tonya Harding in the upcoming film that’s already generating awards season buzz.

“THERE’S no such thing as truth,” Margot Robbie says in the first trailer for I, Tonya, “I mean, it’s bullshit!”

And with that, fans were given their first look at 27-year-old Robbie as disgraced US figure skater Tonya Harding in the upcoming film that’s already generating awards season buzz.

The flick surrounds Harding’s attack on Nancy Kerrigan before the 1994 Winter Olympics — a moment that not only captivated the world, but also ended Harding’s career.

Directed by Craig Gillespie, the film also stars Bobby Cannavale, Allison Janney and Sebastian Stan.

The Gold Coaster not only starred in the movie, but she was a co-producer alongside her husband Tom Ackerley.

Robbie told W Magazine she did not realise the pain that accompanies figure skating.

She said after doing four months of training, five days a week, she now missed it.

“I kept my ice skates — but I said goodbye to a whole world of pain that I didn’t realise came along with figure skating. There’s no padding when you hit the ice. Our choreographer was never sympathetic. When I fell, she was like ’Come on, get up. Let’s go’.”
