If the quarantine situation is anything to go by, the pecking order is very clear on Julia Roberts and George Clooney’s new film.
Roberts and Clooney flew in to Sydney at the weekend, her with a small entourage on a private jet and him on a commercial airline with his family, before being whisked to their respective luxury quarantine ahead of shooting Ol Parker-directed romantic comedy Ticket To Paradise in Queensland.
Confidential has learnt other cast however have been stationed at standard hotel quarantine in the Sydney CBD.
Billie Lourd, daughter of the late Carrie Fisher and granddaughter of Hollywood legends Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, has shared a series of images to her more than 1.5 million Instagram followers.
Using different filters, Lourd tagged her location as ‘quarantine head’, which on a map is somewhere near Manly.
Her baby son, who was born in September last year, is visible in some of the pictures.
The caption included a skol and cross bone emoji with the hash tag, Australian quarantine and day four.
In another image of a chocolate TimTam biscuit with the time stamp of 6.52am, she wrote: “Another day; Same leopard robe; Same early morning Tim Tam”.
To his more than 1.3 million Instagram followers, Emily in Paris star Lucas Bravo on Monday shared a snap from his hotel room with what looks to be bed hair and the caption, ‘quarantino 5/14’ with an Australian flag emoji.
Kaitlyn Dever, who appeared with Lourd in indi flick, Booksmart, is also due in Australia although hasn’t shared anything on social media since attending the London Film Festival at the weekend.
Ticket to Paradise will shoot on Hamilton Island and the Gold Coast. The big screen comedy will tell the story of exes – Roberts and Clooney – who are on a mission to stop their daughter from making the same mistake they once made.
Clooney, along with wife Amal and their young family, is currently in quarantine at a luxury farmstead in the Southern Highlands while Roberts is staying at a waterfront Vaucluse mansion, where she was photographed on Sunday enjoying the harbour view in her pyjamas.
Confidential understands the film company is covering costs for the stars to undergo private quarantine with industry sources estimating the financials to be more than $300,000 for each of the star’s 14 days in isolation.
