DETAILS have emerged of rock star Daniel Johns’ infamous bender late last year, with friends revealing Johns had, in fact, partied for days on end, culminating in that semi-nude stagger through Double Bay.

The former Silverchair singer and his mate, fashion designer Joshua Mullane, were photographed stumbling around the streets of Double Bay with make-up smeared across their faces in December.

For the first time, street artist Anthony Lister, a man who hosted one pit stop on Johns’ wild week, has disclosed the extent of the rock star’s week-long party.

Speaking to Confidential, Lister explained he was shocked when Johns, 34, arrived at his Darlinghurst home after partying for four days.

“He had already been going for a little while when he arrived. He showed up really loose. I wasn’t expecting to see him.

“I thought I should have ran with the ‘I am haggard and I’ve been up for four days look’ too.”

The Brisbane-born street artist said he was old friends with Mullane but that night was the first time he had met Johns.

“I was impressed with his whole rock ’n’ roll feel. He is living the part of an old-school rocker,” he said.

Lister said he could not keep up with the partying ways of the duo, who kicked on from Darlinghurst.

Since the embarrassing photos were splashed across the front page of The Saturday Telegraph, Johns has kept a low public profile.

Taking to Instagram, he has posted a series of weird comments in recent months.

The Silverchair frontman wrote: “A lot of you have been mean lately to that I can only say I love you. Xxxxxxxxxxxx.”

Another odd post was: “Really real hashtag f- future” and a picture of what he described as a “doll” alongside a threat to delete his account.

The ARIA award-winning artist’s past has been littered with questionable behaviour.

In May 2015, Johns was photographed asleep on the footpath in front of a terrace house on Riley St, Surry Hills.

The same month, he was taken to hospital on a stretcher after hitting his head on concrete out the front of Surry Hills haunt Low 302.

In February that year, Johns was convicted of mid-range drink-driving in Newcastle, which saw him disqualified from driving for four months.
