The Bachelorette Sasha’s embarrassing night: ‘Wearing that Cosby Sweater’

From embarrassing social media admissions, to wearing a Cosby Sweater and losing the first State of Origin match to Queensland — last night just wasn’t Sasha’s night.

Sam Frost’s boyfriend Sasha Mielczarek gave fans a giggle ahead of last night’s State of Origin match.

Although he gets points for going for the Blues, the usually sexy Sasha wasn’t dressed to impress, wearing a less than attractive high-neck cardigan which he dubbed the ‘Cosby Sweater’.

He also caused a stir among fans when he couldn’t work his Instagram account properly.

The former Bachelorette star who’s smitten with 2Day FM host Sam Frost, did have good intentions though.

Appealing for donations on behalf of the Cancer Council, the star told followers he was doing Junk Free June, a campaign which sees people donate money while participants steer clear of junk food for an entire month.

“I don’t really know what to do with this! Sitting here awaiting Origin kickoff, at the pub and sipping on an iced water with one of the shiniest foreheads going round! #dirty” Sasha started the post, which indeed featured his very shiny forehead.

“However it is @junkfreejune after all and it’s for a great cause so If you haven’t already jump on the link in my bio and you can donate with all money going to the @cancercouncilqld! I actually don’t know how to do the bio thing so here’s the link: https://au.junkfreejune.org/participants-and-groups/sasha-mielczarek” he said, admitting when it comes to navigating Instagram, he only knows the basics.

Fans were quick to make Sasha feel better about his less than savvy social media skills, with one fan even giving him a step by step summary on how to put his link into the bio adding that he’d get more click throughs by doing so.

“I really am pretty bad at this social media thing. I thought you actually had to spell hashtag at the start!” he confessed, adding, “Hope you had a good night even though the blues went down”.

Finishing off the post, Sasha’s hashtags (done correctly) summed up his night well - “#notsocialmediasavy #gotheblues #junkfreejune #wearingthatcosbysweater”.

Thankfully fans weren’t put off by the buff reality TV star’s unflattering cardigan or lack of technical skills.

“Very Proud of you” one fan gushed, while another said “Sash you are a legend. Well done mate”.
