AFTER battling hodgkin’s lymphoma, former Home And Away star Tessa James is ready to take on Hollywood.
In remission since 2015, James, 26, is now heading to the US with new management and hopes of a leading role.
“I’ll be there six weeks, give or take, and I’ll be auditioning,” the former Home and Away beauty said.
“It’s the best time to go and I’m excited.
“I’d love to work in film but the world has changed so much with Netflix and Amazon, people are making things all the time.
“I’d love to work on any platform as an actress. To limit yourself is not wise. I can’t wait to meet and collaborate and be inspired by all sorts of people.”
James, who retreated from the public eye with her NRL star husband Nate Myles after her 2014 diagnosis, added: “I just love acting so much. I’m really happy to be doing what I love.”
“I like doing something a bit random which is fun and cool.”
