American singer Adam Lambert will headline the 2024 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Party. Here is who made the lineup.

What has been a terribly kept secret has been confirmed officially with Lambert to perform at the event at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion precinct on March 2, right after the 46th annual Mardi Gras Parade.

Cece Peniston, of dance anthem Finally fame, let the cat out of the bag on Friday when she prematurely revealed the line-up on her social media.

Peniston is also performing at the party, as is Ultra Nate, of If You Could Read My Mind and Free fame.

The party itself has attracted some of the biggest names globally over previous years, including the likes of Cher, Kylie Minogue, Sam Smith, Kesha, Dua Lipa, RuPaul, Calvin Harris and the late George Michael.

Ultra Nate will perform at Mardi Gras.

It comes after a standout Mardi Gras in 2023 when Sydney hosted World Pride.

This year’s party will see 10 hours of entertainment and over 50 artists performing with a crowd of more than 10,000.

Keiynan Lonsdale, ONYX, Brett Austin, DJ Monki, and Patrick Mason are also on the bill.

With the overall theme of ‘Our Future’, the 2024 Mardi Gras officially kicks off on February 16 with the Sydney Town Hall flag raising.

The first big event is Sunday the 18th, being Fair Day, where 70,000 community members and friends will take to Victoria Park in Broadway to celebrate.

The Bondi Beach Party will be held on February 24 and will this year be headlined by Slayyyter and a further big name yet to be announced.
