Sydney’s high flyers will be jetting off to Aspen to celebrate the dual 50th birthdays of ‘two of the nicest people you will ever meet’.

The eastern suburbs social set will join forced with high-society types from the North Shore next month when they gather for Charlie Graham and his wife Wally’s joint 50th birthdays.

The couple, labelled by those close to them as two of the nicest people you will ever meet, will throw a three-day extravaganza in Aspen in the US state of Colorado that will comprise a number of themed events.

Graham is the son of funds management firm Gresham Partners managing director James Graham.

“This couple is a seriously good time,” one guest said.

“It is going to be such a fun event.

“They always have themed parties, so this one has different themes for each event over the three days.”

WHY LOVE DIDN’T GET A CHANCE TO BLOOM FOR MAX

They were in love, and displayed it to their thousands of followers, but the relationship is over before it really began for Max Shepherd and US actor Vail Bloom.

Just weeks after making public their relationship on social media, Sunday Confidential believes that the pair have split.

The socials featured a series of loved-up images alongside a caption that read, “My ‘Ocean’. Important encounters are planned by the souls long before the bodies see each other”.

Property developer Shepherd, 30, moved on with Bloom after splitting with artist Dina Broadhurst, 45, one year ago after four years of dating.

Vail MacMillan Bloom, who looks eerily similar to Broadhurst, is an American actor and producer, best known for portraying the character Heather Stevens on US daytime drama The Young and the Restless.

She was also nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2008 for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series.

Bloom, who once dated Star Trek actor Chris Pine, has also appeared on reality TV show Vanderpump Rules.

Bloom welcomed her daughter Charlie in August 2018, and son Jack in January 2020.

She has not revealed who her children’s father is.

The new relationship comes after Shepherd and Broadhurst, who had experience as an interior designer and had been building a new home with her then beau in their rustic five-bedroom Vaucluse property, dated from 2018 for four years.

BEN TRUFFLES SOME FEATHERS

As far as bizarre explanations go, Channel 10 reality show The Bachelors takes the cake.

Melbourne bachelor Ben Waddell appeared in last Tuesday’s episode at a lunch with what appeared to be faded bruises around his eyes.

Surely he hadn’t had a behind-the-scenes tumble or been swatted by a fiery bachelorette?

No. According to Ten, the discolouration had come from truffles.

Apparently, the three bachelors and their dates had all gone truffle hunting, but that footage did not make the final edit. The smudges on Waddell’s face were dirt that was not wiped off properly from truffle “sniffing”.
