AUSSIE golden girl Sophie Monk has come full circle, moving back to the Gold Coast after 15 years living away from home.
The 36-year-old TV personality has bought a mansion on the northern Gold Coast, which settled in April for $1.1m.
The stunning waterfront five-bedroom, three-bathroom home sits on a 4000sq/m block boasting a boat jetty, ramp, horse stables and an in-ground pool looking over the river.
The gated estate is just minutes from Monk’s parents’ house.
Monk has this week been modelling in Byron Bay for a “secret project”, pictured in a glamorous shoot on the beach alongside a man donning leather accessories and long, beachy blonde waves.
She was also photographed riding bareback on a horse, captioning pictures with “my biggest fear is falling off a horse” before sliding off the back and bruising her foot.
Earlier this year Monk spoke about still being single after years on the market, with plans to “settle down” within the next year.
“There’s no time to really think about (a relationship) but I’d like to eventually settle down in maybe a year or so — but I better hurry up,” she said in January.
Monk, who attended Somerset College and A.B. Paterson College, started her career on the Gold Coast as a Mariyln Monroe impersonator at Movie World.
Two years later she began her music stint on a reality TV series called Popstars, where her music group Bardot was formed.
After a number of successful hits Monk branched out into acting on the silver screen, presenting and radio gigs.
She made headlines around the world when Good Charlotte singer Benji Madden proposed to her, before they went their separate ways.
She most recently beat out a field of celebs to win the Celebrity Apprentice crown on the Channel 9 reality show.
