AUSSIE Victoria’s Secret model Shanina Shaik has vowed not to fly United Airlines after a 10-month Old French Bulldog died on a flight when a crew member allegedly ordered the dog’s owner to put it in an overhead compartment.
“I will never fly @united again!!” Shaik wrote on Instagram.
“That is absolutely disgusting!!! You should be completely ashamed of yourself!!!! That is an animal!!! omg so upset. You killed a loving pet @united I don’t know what common sense your staff has??? @peta.”
Shaik is one of many celebrities to voice their concern at the airline over the incident. United Airlines has since apologised and is now investigating the death.
Later, after expressing her disgust at the carrier, Shaik stepped out at a lavish event in Los Angeles for jewellery designer Lorraine Schwartz.
Blake Lively, Alessandra Ambrosio and Kim Kardashian also attended the event at which Shaik’s fiance, DJ Ruckus — real name Greg Andrews — took to the decks.
The couple are planning a wedding for this year and she held a hens party in Jamaica in January.
Shaik made her acting debut last year alongside Tom Cruise in The Mummy reboot and is currently working on a new model-based docu-series for E!
