Supermodels Kendall Jenner, Hailey Baldwin & Bella Hadid Facing LAWSUIT For FYRE Festival!

Aussie supermodel Shanina Shaik is still burning with fury at being manipulated into promoting an elaborate festival that ripped off thousands of elite global partygoers.

Shaik, along with a troupe of the world’s top models including Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, Alessandra Ambrosio, Hailey Baldwin and Chanel Iman, were hired to film a luxe promo video for the Fyre Festival in the Bahamas.

What transpired for guests was a disaster — and instead of luxurious villas they got disaster relief tents.

Shaik, 27, saw the extent of the deceit of organiser Billy McFarland, in the recent documentary, Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened.

“I cried when I watched it,” Shaik told The Daily Telegraph, home from the US to take part in a week of festivities for US online retailer REVOLVE.

“It is really horrific what happened. The girls and I were just kind of dragged into it. We would never want to promote something like that or take someone’s money.”

While the wealthy guests became somewhat of a social media joke, the tragedy continues to be felt by poor locals who were never paid.

Authorities are still searching for the $26 million that remains unaccounted for as a result of McFarland’s investment scheme.

In October, he was sentenced to six years in prison for fraud.

Kendall Jenner was also caught up in the scandal when she was paid to promote the festival on social media.

“I would never promote anything if I knew that it would have that kind of backlash or what became of that. I would never ever want to promote it,” Shaik continued.

“When a client comes to my agent and has a vision or a project they want to work with us on, my agency always makes sure we are protected and looked after.”

In Australia this week, Shaik will be the guest of honour at a series of events for REVOLVE to promote the retailers experiential marketing campaign, REVOLVE around the world.

She will also launch the upgraded shipping services, express three day shipping, free local returns and inclusive pricing.

“Success hasn’t come over night,” the Victoria’s Secret model said of her career, having worked in the industry for more than a decade.
