Speaking to Confidential, the Lend Lease engineer explained that he’s planning a move to Sydney to be closer to the 27-year-old.

“I work in Nowra, but I’m in Sydney with her most weekends. We speak every day,” he said.

“I’m working on being the best boyfriend I can, and I think that requires us to live in the same city,” he laughed.

An ambassador for the McGrath Foundation’s Pull Your Socks Up initiative, Mielczarek said that he is keen to use his new-found notoriety for good.

“I’m a builder, and I’m happy being a builder. I want to be able to fund raise for the McGrath Foundation, and help other people,” he continued.
