That’s exactly what Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker did last night when she arrived at the David Jones flagship Sydney store to launch of her own “SJP’’ shoe brand.

The film and fashion icon arrived at the Elizabeth St store rocking a beautiful pair of her own silver Celine 100 Scintillate shoes to meet with a group of self-confessed “shoeaholics’’ who had queued up for a signing session.
As Carrie Bradshaw on Sex And The City, the actor was best known for her shoe obsession, particularly for high-end Manolo Blahniks.
After the series ended, Parker went on to turn her talents to designing and launching her own shoe brand — which are selling at DJs in the $400 to $600 range.
Parker said she designs shoes with “the modern woman in mind’’ and loves meeting those who wear her shoes and getting feedback on how they feel.
