The 22-year-old was coy about naming the new movie but confirmed she had scored a major role in a Paramount Pictures feature film shot in Vancouver, Canada.
It’s her first international gig since leaving Home and Away last year and appearing in the film Mystery Road opposite her uncle Hugo Weaving.

“It was a great experience to work on something of that size,” she said.
“It’s a stepping stone and I play a supporting character which was less overwhelming because of the experience on Home and Away.”
In Weaving's first major production with big-name actors she did not call her uncle for advice.
“To me he is just family — he is really supportive and loving but we don’t talk about acting,” she said.
The starlet also dreams of becoming a comedic actress.
“I would be excited to do comedy and I think people underestimate how hard it is to do successfully,” she said.
"Actors win Oscars for making people cry but not so much for making people laugh which I find bizarre.”
Breaking out of the beach-babe stereotype is just one of Weaving’s goals since moving to London last year to live with her British boyfriend, model Rob Moore. They currently live in a small place in Notting Hill Gate.
“He has a lovely group of friends and even though I miss my family I'm having fun and working all the time,” she said.
While in the South of France this week, Weaving has her camera ready just in case a casting comes up.
“Right now my job is to do auditions and get to know the casting directors. I’ve always got my camera in case they send me a script,” she said. “I have a few hours to memorise, tape and send it off. Most of the stuff I go for is from America so it works like this.”
Weaving has also been cast as an Icon Of Fashion in her first campaign with top e-tailer, The Iconic. She has previously modelled for Bonds and Aje.
At Christmas the loved-up couple will return to Sydney before castings in the US.
“Neither of us have a 9-5 job so it’s easy to travel together,” she said.
