RUSSELL Crowe’s ex wife Danielle Spencer put aside a broken marriage to show up and support Rusty at a star-studded Sydney red carpet last night to mark the Australian premiere of The Mummy.
Spencer was among Sydney celebs who turned out to catch a glimpse of Hollywood megastar Tom Cruise who stars in the reboot alongside Crowe.
Crowe admitted to Confidential his Hollywood co-star had delivered him some serious cool dad cred over the course of filming the reboot.
“I get different critiques at different times, but I can usually rely on one positive. You have to accept the negatives as well,” Crowe said.
And on meeting Cruise, Crowe’s kids Tennyson and Charlie who walked the red carpet with their dad, were all of us — starstruck and speechless.
Cruise and Crowe’s British co-star Annabelle Wallis — who wowed in a sequined gown last night — said that on set Crowe, in between takes, wouldn’t stop talking about footy. She said she learnt a thing or two about his beloved Bunnies.
Wallis told Confidential Crowe would have been disappointed she didn’t show up to last night’s premiere in a Rabbitohs T-shirt and hat.
Other red carpet sightings included model Erin Holland, actor Sophia Forrest, Voice host Sonia Kruger and Home and Away star Raechelle Banno.
