OH to be a fly on the wall for this tete-a-tete. Confidential stumbled on Russell Crowe having what appeared to be a serious business meeting over burgers and beer at El Loco in Surry Hills yesterday.

The Oscar winner puffed on a ciggie and peered over his glasses as he held court with five men, one of whom is personal trainer and general manager of his recently sold 98 Riley Street gym.

Crowe is in the midst of selling off a number of his Sydney properties as part of his divorce settlement with former wife Danielle Spencer. He sold the Riley St building for about $17 million, having paid $5.05 million in 2003.

The sale means Crowe is likely to retain ownership of his luxury Woolloomooloo Finger Wharf apartment, worth about $30 million, as well as his Coffs Harbour property Nana Glen, where he and Spencer married in 2003.
