PR guru Roxy Jacenko has fired back at claims on Channel 9’s A Current Affair that she went on an extravagant holiday while her husband spent his first weekend in jail.
The show revealed last night that she had headed off to Emirates One&Only spa retreat in the Wolgan Valley, north of Lithgow, with her children.
While Oliver Curtis was acclimatising to his prison cell, she was splashing out on the trip with Pixie, 4, and Hunter, 2, at an estimated cost of $4450 per night (based on a two-night, two-bedroom weekend rate).
The entrepreneur, 36, returned fire on Instagram last night with a picture of her looking dressed down in casual attire at her work desk.
“Really @acurrentaffair9 ‘Resort Roxy’ .... On tonight’s show? Looks like my bum and feet are firmly placed at my desk in my office. Perhaps stick to peoples fences encroaching on others boundaries!!!!!!” she wrote angrily.
Fans rallied behind the businesswoman, with her post fetching over 4500 likes and 329 comments which included, “As if they’d ever come close to breaking you Rox.. We are all behind you!” and, “What a load of croc”.
