Real Housewives of Sydney rebel as sh*t hits fan during publicity round

Amid a fresh round of Real Housewives of Sydney chaos, Dr Kate Adams has hit back against what she labels a “deeply disturbing” smear campaign.

Some of the Real Housewives of Sydney cast members are flouting their contracts and have engaged in unsanctioned interviews saying things that could potentially ruin reputations. And legal letters have reportedly been prepared.

It comes as Dr Kate Adams felt the need to clarify she has never intentionally killed a dog. Just this week, three of the women did a podcast with two former MAFS contestants where it was said that Dr Adams “killed my dog” and others claimed another cast member was obsessed with another housewife and copying her style.

“I watched ... Kate from the very beginning and I really liked her,” Caroline Gaultier said. “You know, she put down my dog. That was kind of special.” After a few jokes from the other ladies, she said, “she killed my dog”.

Vet Kate Adams hit back yesterday saying: “I treated Lilly for a long time at Bondi Vet in 2021 before she was peacefully put to sleep due to heart failure,” she said.

“I sent the family flowers and a card and it is deeply disturbing to be implicated that I killed any pets with malice, without reason or without the owner’s consent.

“This is an organised smear campaign and it is simply not true. It is a heavy emotional burden for vets to carry when we euthanise people’s pets... and to call me Dr Death is very damaging and hurtful when I dedicate so much of my life helping them.”

Production members are concerned about some women who they believe are “intentionally misrepresenting” other housewives.”

“These women are spreading false narratives,” one production source said.

Filming of the RHOS and post production has not been short of drama.

“If there is a show next year, many of the cast won’t be a part of it,” one production source said. “Some production crew have vowed never to work with some of these women ever again.”

One housewife in particular seems to be really flirting with danger, having recently made serious allegations on social media, which she has since pulled down.

What is most concerning to many of the housewives is that the production company behind the series, Matchbox, is not responding to their concerns.

“Many of the women still don’t know if the interviews many of the women are doing are sanctioned or not,” another source said.

“Matchbox has gone to ground and just isn’t responding.”

Matchbox didn’t respond to Confidential’s questions yesterday.
