CLAWS are out and diva antics are revving up among the Real Housewives of Sydney and producers don’t know how to deal with it.
Branded by insiders as “the most out of control bunch yet” who “run their own race” the women of the local Housewives franchise have producers and Foxtel on their toes.
Days out from the debut local season hitting the small screen, Confidential’s sources have painted a gobsmacking behind the scenes picture of all out cat fighting at an advanced screening of the first episode on Thursday night.
First up, eyebrows were raised when controversial cast member Victoria Rees was a total no show at the NW Magazine party. While she told producers she could not attend as she was sick, it is understood she gave a different story to her co-stars.
“She was apparently over it,” the insider said.
“She said that she had done enough for the week and would not be going.”

However it is outspoken Housewife Lisa Oldfield who is really turning heads for her outrageous and unconventional behaviour.
Not only is she frustrating producers by consistently taking media’s calls — despite being told to go through formal channels — her knack for calling a spade a spade is causing a giant rift between the ladies.
After appearing overwhelmed and stressed at an event earlier in the week at Wooloomooloo wharf — where she had to be taken outside for fresh air — Oldfield apparently arrived to Thursday’s NW event in a move jovial state.
She was missing from the bulk of the photos and did not take part in the cast Q and A.
One party guest said she was seen spilling her wine during the evening.
The women were apparently yelling at one another as they sat in a private cinema watching the screening.
After the event had wrapped, things became extremely heated between a number of the cast mates Confidential’s source revealed.
A Foxtel staffer was forced to step-in when there was an incident where bickering between the women reached a new level.
A Foxtel spokesman yesterday said the women enjoyed their night and were no more rowdy than normal.
