Ray Hadley’s son Daniel set to become first-time father

It has been a turbulent time for 2GB’s Ray Hadley following bullying complains from former employees and news today two fresh claims have been lodged. But there is some exciting baby news that will be welcomed relief for the radio shock jock.

Ray Hadley is set to become a grandfather for the second time with his son Daniel to be a first-time father next month.

The joyous news comes at a welcome time for the 2GB broadcaster with Hadley Jr and partner Cass Janes preparing to welcome their baby mid-May.

Mother-to-be Janes posted news of her pregnancy to social media with her Facebook page profile stating: “Daniel Hadley | baby hads may19”.

Janes’ hairdresser mother, Vicki, complemented the post with a photo of her newly dark-haired expectant daughter to her own social media account.

The ex-policeman met Janes while she was working behind the bar at the Hadley clan’s preferred drinking hole, The Great Australian Brewery, at Rouse Hill.

A pub employee last week confirmed Janes no longer works at “The Brewery” and helpfully confirmed her pregnancy.

Cass, pictured with mum Vicki, showed a growing baby bump on social media.

It was at the same pub Hadley Jr was arrested last August by undercover officers from police professional standard command and charged with cocaine possession.

He resigned from the police force and in December the 28-year-old had his drug charge dismissed on mental health grounds and was to participate in a mental health plan for the next six months.

The following day the broadcaster informed his 2GB audience his son had been working “intensely” on his problem adding: “We’ve got a long way to go.”

Having separated from his wife of 17-months Tahnee Anderson in the early months of 2018, Hadley Jr wasted little time starting a family with Janes, who moved into a cottage on the 2GB star’s lavish property in the middle of last year after first wife Anderson moved out. Daniel is the broadcaster’s son from his first marriage to Anne-Marie Hadley.
