Actor Sam Neill is set to reprise his role as defence lawyer Brett Colby SC for a third season of critically acclaimed court drama, The Twelve.
Confidential can reveal BINGE and Screenwest have commissioned the next instalment with production already underway in Western Australia.
“Two seasons of The Twelve have been a delight for me and I am very much looking forward to being back in Colby’s shoes, not to mention his well worn suit,” Neill told Confidential.
“And looking forward to my first time in the Margaret River region – the ideal location.”
Neill is the central character in the drama anthology series that focuses on the goings on in and out of court, particularly the jurors.
Season one saw Neill act alongside Marta Dusseldorp while Frances O’Connor was in season two.
Casting is yet to be revealed for the third season with eight one-hour episodes commissioned.
Warner Bros. International Television Production Australia and Easy Tiger are producing the series that will air on BINGE in 2025.
