POLICE are investigating how images of PR queen Roxy Jacenko’s daughter Pixie, 4, were doctored into lewd photos and circulated among top fashion identities.
POLICE are investigating how images of a four-year-old Instagram starlet were doctored into lewd photographs and circulated among top Sydney fashion identities.
Three people have been reported to police as having circulated the images, including a former staffer for one of the country’s foremost designers and another fashion designer.
Police are investigating the matter.
“I have addressed the matter at the highest level,” Jacenko told The Daily Telegraph.
“When it was brought to my attention by an anonymous tip-off — verbally and in writing along with the picture evidence — I went straight to Rose Bay police station.”
The issue is understood to have then been followed up by senior detectives at Paddington police station, with whom Jacenko met “to discuss and take the necessary action in order to protect my daughter”.
The PR executive, who also has a son Hunter who turns two in May, has since switched her daughter’s Instagram account to private, meaning images cannot be viewed unless approved by her mother.
“As a mother, everything I do is for the children, both Pixie and Hunter,” Jacenko said.
“It sickens me to think that grown men, within the same industry, could possibly find any humour in superimposing my four-year-old daughter, or anyone’s child for that matter, into lewd and explicit situations. It is sick and in my eyes, it’s paedophilia.”
A Rose Bay police representative confirmed the investigation but would not comment owing to “the sensitivity of the matter and the age of the child”.
One source, who was sent two of the images, has issued a statement to police. He described one of the doctored images as showing Pixie superimposed in her nightie behind a glass box alongside to a prostitute in Amsterdam’s red light district. The other showed the young girl reading a book that displayed an image of two men having sex.
The Daily Telegraph contacted the men named as distributing the images.
Two of them did not comment, while the third said: “I don’t know why my name’s been attached to that.”
