WITH Phoebe Burgess expecting a baby boy by the end of the year, she is already anticipating she may have another footballer on her hands.
Speaking to Confidential at the David Jones Spring Summer 2018 parade, Burgess said while she hasn’t given thought to what type of career her second born will choose, she anticipates there is a good chance he will be a footballer, just like her husband, NRL player Sam Burgess.
“Oh gosh, I’m not even going down that path yet,” she said
“I wish I could ban football in my house, I wish I could ban my husband from football, purely because of the injury factor.
“But these boys know their bodies, they know what they are doing.
“Look, I’m sure when my baby boy grows up he will make his own choices, but I’m not even going down that path yet.
“He could play the cello, he could be a fashion designer or an architect or a tradie.
Burgess, who gave birth to her firstborn Poppy in January 2017, said she already has a little bruiser on her hands
“I already have a mini Sam,” she said.
“She is so rough and tough. But she is really kind with other kids, just like Sam.
“She jumps off couches and she has absolutely no fear.”
