PAULINI Curuenavuli has gone to ground, cancelling Melbourne publicity engagements for The Bodyguard until her case is heard in court tomorrow.

It was revealed last week that Paulini has allegedly bribed a NSW Roads and Maritime Services employee with $800 to give her a fake, unrestricted NSW driver’s licence despite not being qualified to drive.

Paulini was set to start publicity for her star role in The Bodyguard today but has postponed a photo shoot with the Herald Sun until her case is heard at court in Sydney tomorrow.

It has been reported that she is now being chauffeured to the theatre in Brisbane where The Bodyguard is presently showing but a spokeswoman for the show said company manager Robbert Van der Zwaag was the driver.

She said it was not unusual for the company manager to be taking the star to the theatre and provide general transport for her and other actors in the show.

She also said the show is proceeding as planned in Melbourne, opening at The Regent theatre on August 29.
