THIS trio is hoping for home ground advantage when it comes to competing against 22 other singles for the heart of the newest Bachelor, Nick “The Honey Badger” Cummins.
Radiographer Brittany, student Cass and lifeguard Juliana are the three NSW Bachelorettes, with blonde Cass going into the show with something of a headstart, having previously dated the rugby larrikin.
“Nick and I have a little bit of history,” she told Sunday Confidential.
“We both live in Manly, we both go the same gym and we have some mutual friends.
“When we were dating, he was a great guy and it was going well, but it was just a matter of bad timing.
“I still don’t know if it is an advantage or disadvantage that I knew him.”
Cummins, who played for the Western Force in Super Rugby, said his commitment to football has meant he has missed out on love and he hopes the show will deliver him a partner.
“I’m really looking forward to throwing everything at this opportunity to finding the one,” he said.
“The past 10 or so years has been on the road playing rugby or working on my projects, so I’m very excited to be part of a show that is centred around love and good times.”
The Bachelor starts on Wednesday.
