NRLW love story talk of the game - former Bachelorette star dating footballer

A North Queensland Cowboys NRLW star has confirmed she’s dating former Bachelorette contestant Holly Langford. This is how their love story blossomed.

It is a modern day love story – finding your partner on social media.

Romance has blossomed between footballer Kirra Dibb and NRL cheerleader Holly Langford after the rugby league ace slid into the former Bachelorette contestants DMs.

Some six months in, Dibb and Langford are planning on moving in together.

“How serious is it? We are going good,” Dibb told Confidential. “We are looking to move in together next year and yeah committing so far to doing long distance.”

Langford added: “Everything has just felt so right, so quickly. We’ve spoken about moving in together next year. It is a classic queer love story I guess is where we are at.”

Dibb, 26, is captain of the NRLW team, the North Queensland Cowboys. Langford works in advertising and is a cheerleader for the Sydney Roosters.

She appeared on Brooke Blurton’s season of The Bachelorette and subsequently dated fellow contestant, Millie Rubio, with the pair breaking up earlier this year.

Dibb and Langford attended the recent Dally M Awards together and regularly share their lives together on social media.

Dibb is based in Townsville for four months of the year playing football. The rest of the year, she is based in Sydney, as is Langford, 29.

When not playing rugby league, Dibb works as an exercise physiologist.

“Kirra has taught me a lot about the game,” Langford said, adding when asked if marriage and the white picket fence was on the cards: “Are you going to put a ring on my finger babe?

Dibb answered: “Obviously that is the goal, we will see how we go but I think everything is moving very positively towards that. We are just taking it day by day and challenge by challenge, doing distance and having our own lives to merge together but absolutely that is the goal.”
