NRL Footy Show host Erin Molan is urging women to start taking their health more seriously following her sister’s battle with cancer.

The blonde bombshell has fronted a video with best friend Ash for Pink Hope Australia, a charity that aims to raise awareness for breast and ovarian cancer.

“Mum and dad have always said to us you’ve got to be happy and you’ve got to be healthy because really without your health you’ve got nothing,” Erin, 33, said sharing her campaign to social media.

The TV personality also opened up about her sister’s battle with bowel cancer, another charity the Aussie darling supports.

“My sister had a cancer scare,” she said, adding that “it would have been a very different outcome for us had she hadn’t made her health a priority and got tested”.

Erin admits we all get busy from time to time but says it’s crucial to keep up to date with health checks.

“The wisest advice I’ve ever been given when it comes to your health is to make it your priority.”

Last year Erin revealed how painful it had been to watch her older sister Sarah face the fight of her life.

“I am so blessed to have you as a sister and thank God you got tested because we wouldn’t function without you,” Erin told her sister in an intimate interview on The Footy Show.

After surgery and invasive treatment Sarah is now in remission.

Another ambassador for the Pink Hope health awareness drive is former Home and Away actor Esther Andersen who was pictured on the charity’s Instagram page holding a sign which reads “I promise to always have my friend’s back when it comes to everything, but especially your health”.
