NICOLE Kidman will fly home to Australia for the triumphant premiere of Foxtel BBC drama, Top of the Lake: China Girl.
The Oscar-winning actor will walk the red carpet at the Sydney Opera House next Tuesday night, flying in for a whirlwind visit to support the series that was shot here and also stars Elisabeth Moss and Gwendoline Christie.
The sequel to Golden Globe and Emmy nominated Top of the Lake is a crime mystery story based on detective Robin Griffin (Moss).
“When the body of an Asian girl is washed up on Bondi Beach, there appears little hope of finding the killer — until Robin realises China Girl didn’t die alone,” a press statement read.
Kidman will walk the red carpet alongside directors Jane Campion and Gerard Lee, and actors Alice Englert, Lincoln Vickery and Christiaan Van Vuuren from 5.30pm.
