Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban and kids mask up and head out for family fun

With shooting on Nine Perfect Strangers wrapped up, superstar Kidman was happy to hit the eastern suburbs for a break with hubby Keith and their kids.

Having wrapped production a week before Christmas, the hard work behind the scenes will now begin for Nicole Kidman as executive producer of TV drama Nine Perfect Strangers.

The Australian superstar appeared relaxed as she enjoyed a family day out on Sunday, stopping by Vaucluse House with her musician husband Keith Urban and children, Faith Margaret, 10, and Sunday Rose, 12.

They had initially intended on watching an 11am session of the theatre production A Bee Story before changing their minds and heading north to Manly to enjoy the sunshine.

Usually based in Nashville, the family will be based in Sydney for at least the next few months while Kidman works with the editing and production team to complete the drama. She also stars in the drama that was shot in Byron Bay over several months last year.

Also on screen will be Melissa McCarthy, Bobby Cannavale, Luke Evans and Michael Shannon.

The production had been brought to Australia as COVID-19 shut down the industry globally. It is understood to be injecting about $100 million into the local economy.

Nine Perfect Strangers sought permission from state and federal governments to shoot under strict COVID-19 guidelines, including regular testing and wearing masks on set.
