The stars are coming home for Christmas.
Australian model Shanina Shaik, her boyfriend Mathew Adesuyan and their three-month-old son are the latest in a slew of celebrities trekking home in time for the holidays.
The Victoria’s Secret runway star and her young family landed at Sydney Airport from Los Angeles on Sunday morning.
Fresh off a European tour, Delta Goodrem told Confidential she’s looking forward to a sunny, simple Christmas in Sydney.
Nicole Kidman is expected back within weeks; Viking Valhalla actor Sam Corlett will spend the 25th in Byron Bay; and the Queen’s granddaughter Zara Tindall and husband Mike are due back in January for the Magic Millions Classic on the Gold Coast.
Cate Blanchett has also wrapped production this week on The New Boy, a drama film by Australian Indigenous filmmaker Warwick Thornton just in time for a summer break.
“So happy to be home!” Shaik captioned an Instagram photo tagged to Sydney on Sunday.
The 31-year-old looked chic and relaxed as she stepped out in an all-black ensemble of track pants, a T-shirt, bomber jacket, and black sunnies, with her hair worn in the It-Girl’s signature sleek bun.
Shaik smiled and pushed a stroller, while Bad Habit record label owner Adesuyan pushed a trolley of luggage.
The couple is yet to share Zai’s face online, but are home to introduce their newborn to family and friends.
Speaking to Confidential shortly after the birth, the new mum said she doesn’t “let [media attention] bother me so much, because I understand the work that I’m in.
“There is pressure because a lot of people are asking to see him. I want to respect my boyfriend’s wishes and let him get into his personality and growth beforehand. I don’t want to share him too much yet.”
