New Triple M Sydney breakfast team revealed - who made the cut?

With Mick Molloy jumping from Triple M Sydney to Melbourne in 2025, there’s a new lineup to replace the comedian. Here are the details.

High Steaks with Beau Ryan

Beau Ryan says he will be seeking advice from long-time friends and new-time radio rivals Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson after landing a prime gig co-hosting the Triple M breakfast show.

The Amazing Race Australia host will be joined by veteran newsreader Natarsha Belling and fellow retired rugby league player Aaron Woods when the trio hit the airwaves in 2025.

“Kyle and Jackie O have done it all, they are at the top of the food chain,” Ryan told The Daily Telegraph.

“They are the best broadcasters in the country and I’d be silly not to ask for advice off them but at the same time, we’ve got our own team and we are really excited for the opportunity.”

Ryan, 39, has worked on radio a lot over the years but this is his biggest job in the medium.

He has in the past actually filled in for Sandilands alongside Henderson on their top rating KIIS 106.5 breakfast show.

“The bar is high (in breakfast) but it is where you want to be,” Ryan said.

“Breakfast is the real deal, it is something I have always wanted to do.”

Ryan, Belling and Woods replace replace comedian Mick Molloy in the timeslot as he moves to host the Melbourne breakfast show next year.

Laura Bouchet, who is married to Sandilands’ business manger Bruno Bouchet, has been appointed Content Director at the station.

“It feels like the first day of school, we are ready to go,” Ryan said.

Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) Chief Content Officer Dave Cameron said: “It is just one of those moments where you hear it, you know it, you can feel it and you know that is it, that is going to engage Sydney, that is going to talk about Sydney and that is something new that I just think Sydney is screaming out for.”

Of the broader market pressures, Cameron conceded “Sydney is a tough market”.

“But it is a very staid market where not much has changed to be honest with stations over the years and surely as the most exciting capital of Australia, I just think there is a huge opportunity to do something different with some different voices coming through,” he said.

“It is incumbent on us to keep the industry alive and vibrant with fresh voices, fresh opinions and fresh new talent coming through so I am pretty excited about this show, particularly in Sydney where not much has changed.”

Meanwhile, a big factor in the decision to sign on to the show for Ryan was his schedule filming Channel 10 TV shows The Amazing Race and Top Gear Australia.

“That was the main thing when the opportunity arose,” he said.

“There is time when I will need to be away overseas and at the moment it looks like it works with some time I have got off in radio, whether it is a break or managing around it. Once I ticked all of the boxes on how I could manage filming TV and my home life, I am super excited, I am super keen. I can’t wait to start.”
