It seems Erin McNaught has a type too. Or should we say preferred genre of man?
Confidential has picked up on a soft-launch of the Australian model and actor’s new beau in recent weeks, Melburnian record producer Stace Cadet.
McNaught shocked fans last October when she announced that her 11-year marriage to UK rapper Example “had come to a natural end”.
“We have had an amazing 11 years together, but just a few too many adventures,” the 41-year-old penned in an Instagram post to frontfoot media speculation.
“We came to the realisation that perhaps our time as a couple had just come to a natural end.”
The former MTV presenter, Dancing With The Stars and SAS Australia contestant co-parents two sons, 11-year-old Evander and 6-year-old Ennio with Example and lives in Brisbane.
Roughly two months after the separation, McNaught shared a video playing tennis games with her ex husband, telling her 184K followers that “divorce doesn’t have to be full of animosity, negativity, and jealousy.”
“We see each other almost every day. With the kids. Without the kids. We just couldn’t live together any longer,” McNaught wrote.
Rapper Example found love five months after the divorce, with a woman who is a dead ringer and friend of his ex-wife, the former Miss Universe Australia and Neighbours star.
The Kickstarts singer - real name Elliott John Gleave - is dating an art adviser from London Daisy Cox, who lives with him in Australia. Cox is close pals with McNaught, whom he was married to from 2013 to 2022.
Now it seems there’s a new love in her life too, with an Australian record producer.
Last week, McNaught posted a mirror selfie with Stace Cadet, in which they’re cuddling and she is planting a kiss on his cheek. It’s captioned with a red heart emoji.
Stace Cadet (nee Stasi Kotaras) is an Adelaide-based electronic and dance music producer, DJ, and vocalist.
Since the release of his first record, he’s been playing festivals and headlining shows around Australia and New Zealand, also racking up 25 million streams with ARIA No. 1 club record Energy.
Although the pair haven’t announced the change in relationship status officially, they are leaving discreet flirtations on each other’s social media pages.
“Last little chunk of life. It’s been good to me,” McNaught captioned a photo dump posted seven weeks ago, with a love heart emoji.
“Yes it has,” Stace Cadet commented, with a wink and two heart emojis.
McNaught returned the favour, commenting a fire and heart emoji on his post about doing a “cheeky little mix for the legends at TripleJ on the old airwaves”.
