Hollywood star Natalie Portman has been spotted reading a Bluey storybook to her kids while they cruised Sydney Harbour with a number of other A-listers.

Thor star Natalie Portman was spotted giving her kids a true-Bluey story time during a star-studded boat ride on Sydney Harbour last week.

The Oscar winner made the most of the warm weather while reading the children’s book featuring ABC cartoon star Bluey with daughter Amalia, 3, and son Aleph, 9, as her director husband Benjamin Millepied watched on.

Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen and his children were also on-board, along with the cast of Millepied’s upcoming film Carmen — Paul Mescal, Rossy De Palma and Melissa Barrera.

Portman, who arrived in Australia last September to film Thor: Love and Thunder, described life in Australia as a “dream” after a brief stint in Byron Bay in 2019.

“The people are so warm, so friendly, the food is unbelievable, the nature is astonishing. The culture’s incredible … I’m very admiring of this nation,” she told Vogue Australia at the time.

Portman has enjoyed several months of downtime since filming on the latest blockbuster instalment of the Marvel series was delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.

Her co-star Matt Damon is currently in private quarantine for 14 days after recently jetting to Australia for his role in the highly anticipated film.

Thor: Love and Thunder, which also stars Chris Hemsworth and Christian Bale, is expected to inject millions of dollars into the economy, use the services of around 1650 local Australian businesses and create up to 2500 jobs in NSW.

Marvel Studios will provide a local trainee scheme to target skills shortages and get more Australians into the film industry.
