In the middle of our worst drought on record, Gruzlewski will host The Farmer Wants A Wife on Channel 7, three years after it last aired on rival network Channel 9.
“The timing is right for me now,” said Gruzlewski, who hosted Farmer from 2007-2012.
“My main focus has been on my family and my daughter. She is almost seven now, so this is the perfect time to come back.
“I loved working on Farmer and have so many fond memories of the show so I am really looking forward to this next series.”
The 42-year-old, who has also worked for The NRL Footy Show and Getaway, said she can assure viewers there won’t be any wife swapping or cheating like some other reality TV dating shows.
“Farmer is the original dating show,” she said.

“It is going to be heartwarming and authentic and it goes back to good old-fashioned romance and telling love stories. We have had such incredible success over the years and it instils our faith in happily-ever-afters.
“I think that is what our viewers are looking forward to seeing.”
Six farmers will put their heart on the line to find “the one” when the series goes to air next year.
“We have an amazing bunch of farmers from all over Australia,” she said.
“I can’t wait to see their journey and how the process unfolds. These are all salt of the earth, loveable blokes.
“We love our farmers and they are all there to find love and are really excited.”
