All eyes were on Lara Worthington at the Louis Vuitton event on Wednesday night as she debuted her third burgeoning baby bump for the first time.

Worthington, who on Wednesday announced she was pregnant with her third child, a boy, made her way down the 14m black carpet at the luxury label’s exclusive George St store opening alongside an assembly of other A-list stars.

Worthington, who is already mum to Rocket Zoe (born in 2015) and Racer (born in 2016), made her pregnancy announcement earlier through Vogue Australia, telling the magazine, “I’m having a boy, early next year. It’s my third boy, and we’re all very excited and very happy. I think any addition brings joy and happiness to the family, but more so when you can share it with the other boys. It’s such a boy’s club in my house!”

Wearing a branded suit from Louis Vuitton’s 2020 cruise collection which only just concealed her baby bump, Worthington posed for photographs but would not talk to the media.

Branded “the event of the year” by organisers and guests, Elsa Pataky, Georgia and Kate Fowler, model Jordan Barrett and fashion-loving former politician Julie Bishop were among the other celebrities who joined Worthington at the glitzy store opening.

The grand store is located within the 1857 heritage building, at 365 George St, Sydney and has undergone 12 months of renovations; with Georgia Fowler telling Confidential there is nothing like it in Australia.

“I am in head to toe Louis, I went inside this morning to pick a look,” Fowler said.

“It is such a beautiful store, it is huge. This is such a beautiful brand to work with.

While Fowler, who is based in New York, is only in town for a few days, she plans on spending any free time she has with her sister Kate and her two children.

“Any downtime I have is spent with my sister and her kids, so I guess it isn’t really down time,” she said. “We are three years apart, which is a perfect age gap.

“My sister is my best friend, I will do anything for her. I have always looked up to her. She is really my cooler half.”

Fashion savvy former politician Julie Bishop also turned heads in a stylish Louis Vuitton shift dress at the George St unveiling.

Joined by partner David Panton, she posed for photographers on the black carpet alongside entertainers and models.

“I am indeed in Louis — well the dress is Louis,” she said.

“I have been a big fan of Louis Vuitton for a long time and I love their luggage and their timeless style and of course they are part of the LVMH empire that now includes Tiffany’s — what’s not to love about this.”

“The handbag I bought for Derby Day — the black and white handbag — it is my favourite.”

After the lavish store opening, guests were treated to a no-expense-spared after-party at Campbells Cove at The Rocks.

More than 600 guests were transferred to the after-party, with cars leaving every five minutes for more than an hour to get everyone to the new venue.

A fresh group of celebs, many of which had been at the 2019 ARIA Awards, also made their way to the post-event bash.

Musos Jessica Mauboy, Carly Rae Jepsen, Jimmy2Sox, Flume, actor Alexander England and models Cameron Robbie and Jarrod Scott all descended on the harbourside venue, where Flume played a set before being joined by Vera Blue.

“I went inside yesterday and they fitted me in this suit,” Flume said, pointing to his designer outfit.

“I am into fashion. I think living in the States and doing photoshoots and stuff with this job you get exposed to so much so you kind of get a taste for expensive things.”

Flume, who jetted in for the event as well as the ARIA awards, also spoke of his recent Grammy nomination.

“I am feeling really good, it is cool. Rufus is also up for one which is fun. It will be really nice to go.”

While Flume, whose real name is Harley Streten, is currently based in the US, he said he plans to move home to Australia down the track.

“For now it is good for work, but no way am I dying in LA, hell no,” he said. “I love it here. I miss the ocean and I miss Australia so much so any chance to get to come home I take.”
