Sydney socialite Nadia Fairfax-Wayne has welcomed the arrival of her daughter.
The ‘It’ girl and her husband Michael Wayne named their first born, Cordelia, with Fairfax-Wayne taking to social media to announce the happy news.
“CORDELIA,” she captioned a series of professional images alongside the newborn.
It is believed she gave birth to the baby around two weeks ago as she has been MIA from a number of her friend’s Christmas parties.
The socialite, 34, first revealed her pregnancy on Instagram when she shared a series of images in which she exposed her baby bump, while celebrating with Aussie NBA star Patty Mills and his wife Alyssa.
Nadia captioned the images, ‘A big Happy Birthday to my old buddy @balapat … we’ve come along way since we first met at the [Australian Institute of Sport] when I was 15.’
Fairfax and her husband got married in March 2021 in a lavish, star-studded ceremony at Swifts, a heritage-listed late-Victorian Gothic Revival mansion in Sydney’s Darling Point.
High-profile guests at the event included former rugby league footballer Luke Ricketson and his wife Kate Waterhouse.
The couple met at Montarna McDonald’s December 2018 wedding to Nick Pitt.
