MONTANA Cox has quickly discovered there’s a big wide lucrative world beyond the David Jones’ runway.

Three months after a shock ousting from David Jones, the 23-year-old has been too busy to lick her wounds thanks to a steady stream of international modelling gigs with US Harper’s Bazaar, Chanel and prestigious department store Saks Fifth Avenue.

“Work has been really great,” Cox told Confidential.

“I have been overseas a lot. I got back on Sunday and have been working every day this week shooting some really cool things. It is always good to be in demand. There is life after David Jones. Life keeps on going.”

Tonight she along with 30 other models will take to the catwalk at Justin Hemmes’ home, The Hermitage for BAZAAR in Bloom, a couture show and gala event raising funds for The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation and its first comprehensive, public fertility and research centre.

And while kids are definitely on the cards for Cox, the pretty brunette doesn’t see herself modelling maternity wear any time soon.

“I definitely want children down the track,” she said.

“Obviously not for a long time though. I am only 23 so hopefully I have a little more modelling to do before I get a big belly.

“I don’t really have a plan in place, but these days people model after they have the baby and it is all about the come back body. Maybe in the near future I will think about kids, then think about doing maternity wear.”

Cox will be joined at Hemmes’ home with more than 250 guests including Jesinta Campbell, John and Amber Symond, Rebecca Vallance and Samantha Armytage where designer handbags donated by the leading luxury houses, exclusive short holidays, jewellery and beauty products will be auctioned off to raise funds for the centre.

“I welcomed my beautiful daughter into the world last year — and as a new father, I appreciate now, more than ever, the importance of all women having access to the very best in reproductive healthcare and treatment,” Hemmes said.

“It is such an honour to host BAZAAR in Bloom at my home and help raise the much-needed funds for Australia’s first holistic centre for fertility”.
