THE Hart sisters are on a mission.
While still kicking goals as models, Jess and Ash Hart have their eyes firmly set on life after the catwalk.
“I have this vision and dream of a model finishing school,” Ash told Confidential.
“We can teach women rites of passage, from teenager coming into womanhood, teaching things that for us are sort of like breathing because we’ve grown up in the industry. I just think we’ve got such a great package to put together. That is my ultimate dream.”
Of the project, older sister Jess said: “That is something we’ve been talking about for a long time. If we can support in helping any girls to be stronger and give them tools to get through life and challenging situations, then we’d love to help if we can.”
Jess, 31, was the first to start modelling, winning the Dolly Model Search in 2000 and going on to become one of our biggest names in the business here and overseas.
Younger sister Ash, 29, followed suit a few years later.
“I have definitely been in the footsteps of Jess, which I feel is one of life’s biggest gifts. In all aspects of our lives, style and fashion, even with our relationships, I’ve always looked up to Jess. It has been amazing to have each other throughout the whole thing,” Ash said.
Surprisingly, while the sisters have shot numerous editorials together, their first joint campaign comes out in the next few months with the pair recently shooting for Pureology hair products in the US.
“I love that we’ve become a duo, it is a beautiful feeling,” Ash said.
Jess, who also runs and owns Luma cosmetics, adding: “It is just an unexplainable bond.”
