HAVING been told her chances of conceiving naturally were slim to none former My Kitchen Rules star Monique Fitzgerald says she would never have fallen pregnant if not for Pete Evans.
The MKR police officer and husband Matthew already have four children with the two youngest born through IVF.
Being on MKR and looking into Evan’s eyes and seeing how good he looked inspired Fitzgerald to make a drastic change in her life she told New Idea.
Inspired by the MKR host she switched to a paleo diet after filming for the show had finished.
It is that switch that Fitzgerald credits with helping her to fall pregnant with her ‘miracle’ fifth child.
“I absolutely think converting to paleo had something to do with me falling pregnant,” she told New Idea.
“We can thank Pete for this baby!”
But while Fitzgerald credits Evans with the baby it is his co-host Manu Feildel that she is thinking of naming the baby after.
“My father-in-law was always telling us that if we had a boy, it had to have the MJF initials — my husband’s name is Matthew John Fitzgerald and his father’s name is Matthew James Fitzgerald,” she told the magazine.
“So Manu would just fit in beautifully, wouldn’t it!”
