AUSSIE supermodel Miranda Kerr has opened up about how she met her Snapchat billionaire beau Evan Spiegel.
The 32-year-old told KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O that she met the successful 25-year-old CEO at a dinner party.
The pair are on their way back home to the US, after spending time in her home town of Gunnedah, a six-hour drive north-west of Sydney.
Kerr admitted she used Snapchat “everyday” before gushing about her man.
“So we met over a year ago at a dinner in New York City for Louis Vuitton and we kind of became friends very slowly and then we started dating, I guess,” she said on air this morning.
“I don’t exactly know how long we’ve been dating but it was a slow process.
“We got to know each other really well.”
Kerr said she kept the relationship private by avoiding paparazzi
“You just do the best you can at the end of the day,” she said.
“You can’t do much more than that. Luckily if I’m not working, I’m quite a home body and I like cooking and like having people over at my house.
“Luckily I don’t get stir crazy at home.”
The mother-of-one, who shares son Flynn with actor and ex-husband Orlando Bloom, told E! News that Spiegel was “authentic.”
“He’s just a really kind person and very genuine and very authentic and I really appreciate that about him. And also he’s very intelligent,” she said.
Kerr said her four-year-old boy Flynn enjoyed his time at pre-school.
“He loves it. They do lots of arts and crafts — obviously he knows his alphabet and all the numbers and things like that. He can count all the way to 100,” she told Kyle and Jackie O.
“He’s a little cutie.”
