Michael Clarke’s new love interest Rique Miroshnik spotted in Bondi

The Sydney socialite romantically linked to the former Australian cricketer was doing more at Bondi today than simply soaking up the sun, sand and surf. Rique Miroshnik had a mission.

Sydney socialite Rique Miroshnik is a woman of many talents.

After being romantically linked to former Australian Cricket Captain Michael Clarke, The Daily Telegraph has learnt Miroshnik volunteers as a lifesaver at Bondi Beach in her spare time.

The former beauty queen and Miss Universe Australia 2010 contestant, traded her heels and handbag for a red and yellow Surf Life Saving swimsuit and shorts on Anzac Day.

Miroshnik, nee Sharman, is the ex-wife of well known eastern suburbs plastic and cosmetic surgeon doctor Michael Miroshnik.

She was photographed on patrol as part of the North Bondi Surf Life Saving club on Tuesday morning, looking happy as the mother of two chatted with fellow lifesavers and walked along the shore.

Miroshnik was a nominee for Surf Life Saving Australia’s Masters Athlete of the Year in 2022 after her gold medal performance for the club at the 2021 Australian Surf Life Saving titles.

Eastern suburbs local Miroshnik and Clarke were snapped having lunch together in Sydney’s Double Bay on Friday.

The former Aussie cricket captain was in good spirits as he arrived by Uber at Neil Perry’s Margaret restaurant at about 3pm for lunch that day.

The pair sat next to each other during what is understood to have been a birthday lunch for one of their friends.

They have known each other for more than a decade.

Earlier last week, The Daily Telegraph revealed Clarke had been spending time with Miroshnik. She was one of about 25 women that celebrated with him on his birthday on-board a luxury superyacht on Sydney Harbour just a few weeks ago.

The pair are understood to be keeping the budding relationship low-key, with friends close to Clarke insisting he is “single but dating” and not involved in anything “too serious”.

It comes months after Clarke was embroiled in a messy cheating scandal, which he denied at the time, with now ex-girlfriend, Jade Yarbrough.

Footage of a spectacular Noosa street blow up emerged in January of Clarke and Yarbrough arguing, when he was accused him of cheating with his previous ex, fashionista Pip Edwards.

Clarke has denied the cheating allegations.
