Parents to three children, the smitten couple were making the most of a kid-free Sydney afternoon, enjoying a date at celebrity haunt Icebergs before laughing and holding hands as they walked along the promenade, stopping to look at the view along the way.

And the ocean air and freedom seemed to agree with them with Baker, aged 45, and Rigg, 47, both fresh-faced and relaxed.

Baker and Rigg, who wed in 1998 after meeting on a blind date in 1991, often return to Sydney for summer holidays from their home in Los Angeles.

The star of two hit TV shows, The Guardian and The Mentalist, Baker has credited his wife and kids — Stella, 21; Claude, 16; and Harry, 13 — with keeping him grounded, adding Rigg was “the greatest woman any man could ever hope to make a life with”.

“Marrying her was the best decision I ever made”.

Baker and Rigg are close friends with fellow celebrities Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts and her partner Liev Schreiber.
