She recently sold her company MCoBeauty with Billion Dollar Valuationand and has stepped away from the brand she built into an empire in just five short years, however Shelley Sullivan isn’t showing any signs of slowing down.

The make-up maven, who sold her final stake of the brand to DBG Health’s Dennis Bastas in January, has signed with one of the world’s biggest and most influential talent, sport and entertainment agencies, the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and has spent the last few months jetting too and from LA to check out potential business opportunities.

“It’s been four months since I have been out of the business,” Sullivan told Sunday Confidential.

“After working for so many years it has been nice to have a break for a minute and spend some time with my daughters, Lucy and Emily.

“But I am now working with the CAA in America and have spent a lot of time in LA looking for potential opportunities.

“I am looking at various business deals across talent and fashion brands.”

Despite having sold the company, Sullivan is still emotionally invested, so much so that she spent $300 stocking up on MCoBeauty products ahead of a lavish dinner which was held on Thursday night and hosted by Sullivan and Forbes Australia today to celebrate the sale.

Sullivan’s nearest and dearest, including designer Pip Edwards, creative director Al Weekes, school friends Jane Sonego, Justine Mcauliffe who have been friends with Sullivan for more than 35 years. Adam Abrams, Daimon Downey and partner Georgia, designer Jono Ward, and agent Nick Fordham attended the dinner which was held at The Apartment at Hotel Centennial.

“I am still friends with the brand and regularly check in on them,” she said.

“I and am very much still a devotee of the brand and cheer them on from the sidelines. I am their number one supporter,” she said.
