BETWEEN them they’ve battled The Hulk, Chinese monsters and an alien army, but in Byron Bay yesterday it was a battle of the jellyfish for action-hero buddies Matt Damon and Chris Hemsworth.
The Hollywood pair and their party of ten including Hemsworth’s wife Elsa Pataky and their three children, plus Damon’s wife Luciana Barroso and their three daughters were pictured on a family outing to Byron Bay’s famous beach, The Pass.
But the beach date turned sour when Damon’s youngest daughter, Stella, aged 6, was treated by local paramedics on the scene after being stung by a jellyfish.
Little Stella was comforted by her parents before heading home to recover.
The Damons, who are hiding out at The Hemsworth’s Byron Bay hinterland property, have been enjoying helicopter flights, horse rides on the beach and family time since arriving in Byron on Saturday.
The pair who have been friends for years are enjoying a relaxed break, but there is speculation Damon — who runs his own motion picture company — could be scouting film locations or looking to collaborate with Hemsworth — one of our highest paid actors — on an upcoming project.
