As the fallout from Danika Mason and ex-fiance Todd Liubinskas messy break-up continues, many are asking, who is Liubinskas?

TV sports presenter Mason called off her wedding to the Bondi-based personal trainer just weeks before the ceremony was due to be held on October 27 at Greystone Estate in the NSW Hunter Valley.

And while most people know Mason, there’s been intrigue surrounding Liubinskas.

The well-connected personal trainer, who has a social media following of more than 12 thousand, grew up in Sydney’s Inner West where he “pretty much did every sport until I was a teenager”, he has said previously.

He has also been linked to fellow fitness guru Michelle Bridges, with the couple fending off rumours they were a couple back in 2020, after Bridges split from Steve ‘The Commando” Willis.

Three years ago photographs emerged of the pair displaying undeniable chemistry while playing around on the beach, with Liubinskas giving Bridges a piggy back, prompting headlines like “meet the man making Michelle Bridges smile again”.

At the time, Liubinskas said he was in a relationship, but wouldn’t reveal who with.

While Michelle said of her friendship with Todd: “I’ve known Todd for years – he was at the hospital the day after Axel [her four-year-old son] was born.

“I admire Todd for working grassroots, holding people’s hands and talking them off the ledge, rather than it being all show for Instagram.”

At the time, insiders said Liubinskas “filled a void in the personal trainer’s life, bringing her a new-found sense of happiness and stability”.

They are believed to have known one another since 2016.

Mason and Liubinskas had been engaged for two years after Liubinskas popped the question in July 2021.
